No Flesh Shall be Spared
The novel is set in a near future where society has dealt with a global outbreak of the Living Dead and is finally starting to move on. As the world begins to pull itself back together, a new highly lucrative international sport – zombie pit fighting – emerges which, in a very short period of time, manages to surpass all previous sports revenue and attendance records. The World Gladiatorial Federation and The Undead Fight League have grown bigger and more influential than the NFL, NBA, and Major League Baseball combined. From the League’s ratings and their fighters’ popularity, it is apparent that the Living have not quite finished with the Dead. A fighter, Cleese, is recruited and indoctrinated into this violent world where every match could be the fighter's last.
